The immigration crackdown continues Tuesday in Minnesota as Department of Homeland Security's Kristi Noem returned to the Twin Cities to tag along as federal agents made more arrests.
The fatal ICE shooting in Minnesota "has positioned more people to say enough is enough," Congresswoman Delia Ramirez said.
The officers would be deployed to bolster the safety of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Border Patrol officials already in Minnesota, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said.
Noem said that more agents will arrive in the Twin Cities metro Sunday and Monday to help officers already there continue to do their work "safely."
